About the position

The Marketing/Admissions Coordinator will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing plans for the facility, focusing on building relationships with hospital discharge planners, physicians, and community organizations. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement facility marketing plans, including a minimum of 24 hours per week of outreach to hospital discharge planners, physicians, and senior citizen organizations.
  • Make speaking presentations on long-term care and aging to local community groups.
  • Conduct facility tours and manage the daily admissions process for prospective residents.
  • Prepare weekly reports as required.
  • Promote internal efforts for community relations programs.

Requirements

  • Marketing or community relations experience, particularly in the healthcare industry.
  • Excellent people skills with effective communication abilities in writing, verbally, and in public speaking situations.
  • Ability to work independently and manage extensive local travel.
