About the position

As a Facility Administrator at Fresenius Medical Care, you will oversee the daily operations of a dialysis clinic, ensuring quality patient care in collaboration with the Medical Director and Charge Nurse. This role includes managing clinic operations, financials, and staff development while participating in a Clinical Leadership Program that supports continuous learning and career advancement.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the operations of the clinic, including costs, processes, staffing, and quality standards.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and development plans for all direct reports.
  • Collaborate with internal Human Resources, Quality, and Technical Services departments.
  • Oversee the facility's Home Therapies Program in partnership with the Home Therapies Manager.
  • Maintain integrity of medical and operations records and comply with data collections and auditing activities.
  • Manage clinic financials, including efficient utilization of supplies and regular profit and loss reviews.
  • Responsible for all required network reporting and on-site state or federal surveys.
  • Coordinate inventory/supply management by reviewing monthly inventory counts and approving purchase orders.
  • Collaborate closely with the Charge RN, Medical Director, and physicians regarding direct patient care responsibilities.
  • Coordinate all aspects of patient care from admission through discharge.
  • Monitor patient and family education regarding access care and medical instructions.
  • Act as a resource for patients and families to address concerns and questions, reviewing patient satisfaction surveys.
  • Participate in the selection and hiring of new team members and ensure completion of new hiring orientation and mandatory trainings.
  • Ensure all patient care employees complete appropriate training courses and maintain current licensures and certifications.
  • Provide support for clinical staff members and encourage professional growth.
  • Complete employee evaluations and establish annual goals, documenting any disciplinary actions as needed.
  • Manage staff scheduling and payroll.
  • Facilitate the application process for physician privileges and compliance with Medical Staff By-Laws.
  • Maintain strong physician relationships and ensure effective communication.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 4+ years of business operations experience in a healthcare facility.
