About the position

The position supports FMCNA's mission, vision, core values, and customer service philosophy while adhering to the FMCNA Compliance Program. The role involves managing and overseeing the daily operations of the dialysis facility, ensuring cost-effective operations in compliance with all legal, regulatory, and policy requirements. The clinic leader collaborates with the Medical Director and Clinical Coordinator/Charge Nurse to provide quality patient care from admission to discharge. This includes making daily decisions to ensure continuity of care and the safety of both patients and staff. The responsibilities include driving the FMS culture through values and customer service standards, ensuring outstanding service to all customers, and developing effective relationships through timely communication. The position is accountable for the administration of daily business operations, managing staff functions, maintaining the physical plant and equipment, and overseeing inventory control. Financial management is also a key responsibility, ensuring optimal operations to meet or exceed budget and performance indicators. Collaboration with clinical staff is essential to ensure quality patient care, including coordinating patient care, addressing concerns, and developing efficient patient schedules. The role involves implementing a Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) process, ensuring compliance with federal and state laws, and maintaining strong relationships with the Medical Director and physicians. The clinic leader is responsible for training staff, managing performance evaluations, and ensuring compliance with training requirements. Additionally, the position involves maintaining communication with corporate and division personnel, contributing to business growth, and ensuring the safety and integrity of the facility.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily operations of the dialysis facility ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with Medical Director and Clinical Coordinator/Charge Nurse to provide quality patient care.
  • Drive FMS culture through values and customer service standards.
  • Administer daily business operations including staff management and inventory control.
  • Oversee financial aspects of the center to achieve budget and performance indicators.
  • Coordinate patient care from admission through discharge, ensuring education for patients and families.
  • Implement Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) processes and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Maintain strong relationships with physicians and facilitate effective communication.
  • Manage staff performance, including hiring, training, and disciplinary actions.
  • Ensure facility safety and environmental integrity, including equipment maintenance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required; health care discipline preferred.
  • 4+ years of business operations experience in a health care facility, with at least 1 year in a lead or senior position.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with medical database software preferred.
  • Demonstrated leadership competencies and management skills, including communication and customer service.
  • Ability to motivate employees and manage performance effectively.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in a medical facility preferred.
