About the position

As a Facility Administrator at Fresenius Medical Care, you will oversee the daily operations of a dialysis clinic, ensuring quality patient care in collaboration with the Medical Director and Charge Nurse. This role includes managing clinic operations, financials, and staff development while participating in a Clinical Leadership Program for career advancement.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the operations of the clinic, including costs, processes, staffing, and quality standards.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and development plans for all direct reports.
  • Collaborate with internal departments such as Human Resources, Quality, and Technical Services.
  • Oversee the facility's Home Therapies Program in partnership with the Home Therapies Manager.
  • Maintain integrity of medical and operations records and comply with data collections and auditing activities.
  • Manage clinic financials, including efficient utilization of supplies and regular profit and loss reviews.
  • Coordinate inventory and supply management, ensuring cost containment and timely distribution.
  • Collaborate with the Charge RN and Medical Director regarding patient care responsibilities.
  • Monitor patient and family education regarding access care and medical instructions.
  • Participate in the selection and hiring of new team members and ensure completion of orientation and training.
  • Provide support for clinical staff and encourage professional growth.
  • Facilitate the application process for physician privileges and ensure compliance with medical staff by-laws.
  • Participate in the Governing Body, an interdisciplinary team governing policies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 4+ years of business operations experience in a healthcare facility.
