About the position

As a Healthcare Operations Manager (Facility Administrator) at DaVita, you will play a crucial role in leading a team that prioritizes patient care and operational excellence. This position is designed for an ambitious, operationally-focused, and results-driven leader who is also a registered nurse (RN). You will be responsible for managing the complete operation and performance of an outpatient clinic, ensuring that patients receive the highest quality of care while also fostering a positive work environment for your team. Your leadership will directly impact patient health through clinical goal setting and quality improvement initiatives, allowing you to build meaningful relationships with patients and contribute to their health outcomes. In this role, you will have the autonomy to run your clinic while receiving support from your director, regional peers, and the broader company. You will lead a cross-functional clinical team, mentoring and inspiring them to deliver exceptional care to patients, teammates, and the community. Financial management will also be a key aspect of your responsibilities, as you will need to adhere to budgets, forecast expenses, manage vendor relationships, and ensure compliance with regulations. Your ability to collaborate with clinical and financial teams will be essential in achieving business objectives and enhancing patient care. Responsibilities

  • Manage the complete operation and performance of the clinic, ensuring adherence to budget and compliance standards.
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a cross-functional clinical team to deliver high-quality patient care.
  • Build and maintain relationships with patients to continuously improve their health outcomes.
  • Oversee financial management, including forecasting expenses and managing vendor relationships.
  • Collaborate with clinical and financial teams to align results with business needs.
  • Partner with the Regional Operations Director to address employee and patient concerns.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree in a related area strongly preferred.
  • California RN License is REQUIRED.
  • Minimum of one year experience in management (healthcare, business, or military) or equivalent renal experience.
  • Current CPR certification required (or certification must be obtained within 60 days of hire).
  • Intermediate computer skills and proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook required.
  • Collaboration skills to work effectively with clinical and financial teams.
