About the position

As a Healthcare Operations Manager (Facility Administrator) at DaVita, you will play a crucial role in leading an outpatient clinic, focusing on patient care and operational excellence. This position emphasizes work-life balance and personal growth, allowing you to make a significant impact on patient health while developing your team. You will manage clinic operations, financial performance, and foster a positive team culture, all while having the autonomy to run your facility with support from regional leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Build relationships with patients and improve their health through clinical goal setting and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a cross-functional clinical team to deliver optimal care for patients and support for teammates.
  • Manage the complete operation and performance of the clinic, including budget adherence, expense forecasting, vendor management, and compliance monitoring.
  • Collaborate with the Regional Operations Director to address employee and patient concerns and drive towards regional goals and standards.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree in a related area strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of one year experience in management (healthcare, business, or military) or equivalent renal experience (nurse, dietitian, social worker, LPN, etc.).
  • Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse if required by state of employment.
  • Current CPR certification required (or certification must be obtained within 60 days of hire or change in position).
  • Intermediate computer skills and proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
