About the position

As a Healthcare Operations Manager at DaVita, you will play a crucial role in leading an outpatient clinic, focusing on patient care and team development. This position emphasizes operational excellence, financial management, and fostering a positive work culture, all while ensuring compliance with healthcare standards. You will have the autonomy to manage the clinic effectively, supported by a collaborative team and resources from the company.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a cross-functional clinical team to deliver optimal patient care.
  • Manage the complete operation and performance of the clinic, including budgeting and vendor relationships.
  • Implement clinical goal setting and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient health.
  • Collaborate with the Regional Operations Director to address employee and patient concerns.
  • Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and support.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree in a related area strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of one year of management experience in healthcare, business, or military, or equivalent renal experience.
  • Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse if required by state of employment.
  • Current CPR certification required (or must be obtained within 60 days of hire).
  • Intermediate computer skills and proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not required.
  • Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with clinical and financial teams.
