About the position

The Healthcare Payor Network Manager (Sr. Program Manager) at Vanderbilt University Medical Center is responsible for leading the MyHealthBundles program, focusing on value-based sales and employer engagement. This role involves strategic planning, stakeholder management, and operational oversight to drive program growth and adapt to changes in the healthcare marketplace. The manager will represent the MyHealthBundles product line to employers, ensuring effective communication and collaboration across departments to achieve sales goals and enhance stakeholder relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Provides leadership and support for the creation, coordination, execution, and growth of value-based sales and management related to the MyHealthBundles program.
  • Develops program plans, goals, and objectives in collaboration with program and area leadership.
  • Communicates within and across departments to maximize information sharing around progress, needs, interdependencies, and accomplishments.
  • Manages accounts of all sizes by representing MyHealthBundle products and departmental goals.
  • Establishes and builds strong working relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Utilizes key market data and information to handle objections, drive sales, and access new opportunities.
  • Maintains a database to track and manage operational issues for each stakeholder.
  • Identifies and discusses concerns or trends with teams and payors to improve related operational processes and resolve issues.
  • Manages single case agreements and demonstrates knowledge of payor operations in healthcare.
  • Interprets and explains rules and regulations that are ambiguous or unclear.

Requirements

  • 5 years of relevant work experience in healthcare payor operations or program management.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Intermediate knowledge of healthcare operations and insurance regulations.
  • Advanced communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with stakeholders.
