About the position

As a Professional Billing EPIC - Revenue Business Solutions Analyst, you will play a crucial role in formulating and defining business scope and objectives through thorough research and fact-finding. This position requires a deep understanding of business and industry requirements, allowing you to perform functional analysis, define requirements, and configure and test application modules effectively. You will be responsible for conducting prototypes, developing functional specifications, and mapping data and functions to ensure that our business processes are efficient and effective. Your role will also involve identifying and resolving gaps in business processes, which is essential for maintaining the integrity of our operations. You will be engaged in security and authorization setup, user documentation, data interface design, data migration, and reconciliation. Additionally, you may be involved in the installation and tuning of modifications, as well as archiving data. While this position generally requires light programming skills, it is crucial for developing necessary workarounds to support our end-users effectively. In this remote position, you will be expected to perform your duties in alignment with Mercy's mission, values, and service standards. Responsibilities

  • Formulates and defines business scope and objectives through research and fact-finding.
  • Performs functional analysis, requirements definition, and application module configuration and testing.
  • Conducts prototypes, develops functional specifications, and maps data and functions.
  • Identifies and resolves gaps in business processes.
  • Involved in security/authorization setup, user documentation, data interface design, data migration, and reconciliation.
  • May be involved in the installation and tuning of modifications, as well as archiving data.
  • Provides support to end-users for application configuration and/or in-house developed applications.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, specialized training, or equivalent work experience.
  • Five (5) years of relevant technical or business work experience.
  • Knowledge of requirements management, diagramming, and use case development.
  • Experience in process design, reengineering, and requirements documentation methodologies.
  • Advanced computer skills and general understanding of Software Development Life Cycle.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Experience in business writing.
