Volt is seeking an experienced Real Estate & Facilities Project Manager to join our dynamic and growing nonprofit community health organization in Seattle, WA. This unique opportunity is ideal for a candidate with a strong background in managing real estate and facility projects, particularly within the healthcare sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a talented team of facilities project managers, overseeing a variety of projects related to construction, maintenance, site openings and closures, and space reconfiguration. This role requires exceptional attention to detail and strong communication skills, as well as the ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment that values respect and adaptability. In this position, you will handle lease negotiations, property acquisitions, and lease administration while maintaining positive relationships with landlords and tenants. You will also be tasked with developing and implementing the facilities capital plan in collaboration with our team, ensuring compliance with facilities-related insurance and vendor requirements, and overseeing routine facilities assessments to maintain up-to-date knowledge of the physical condition and capital needs of our properties. Additionally, you will supervise clinical equipment inventories, ensuring proactive replacement and annual assessments, and ensure adherence to facilities code requirements and infection prevention protocols. The role also involves directly managing a variety of facilities projects, including safety compliance, construction management, and the implementation of new standards and systems. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of experience in managing real estate and facility project teams, with established connections and significant experience in the Seattle real estate and construction markets. Prior experience in healthcare facilities management is strongly preferred, along with familiarity with facility codes and infection prevention requirements. A reliable personal vehicle for local travel between sites is necessary, and COVID vaccination is required for health and safety reasons.
