The driver must ensure that the truck is equipped with all necessary tools, tickets, and equipment to perform daily tasks effectively. Responsibilities

  • Deliver fuel to and from company tanks and heating oil customers.
  • Ensure that all documentation, receipts, transactions, and accounting records are accurately completed, processed, and forwarded to the appropriate people.
  • Perform daily/monthly inventory of bulk fuel tanks and trucks.
  • Communicate with office/dispatcher for daily routes, updating directions, and addressing any problems with fuel deliveries.
  • Ensure the truck is equipped with all necessary tools, tickets, and equipment needed for daily heating oil delivery tasks.
  • Properly and safely load the truck with petroleum products to legal road weight.

Requirements

  • Highly organized, motivated, and detail-oriented.
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
  • Comfortable working on a small team and willing to pitch in wherever needed.
  • Passionate about providing excellent customer service.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required; must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Possess and maintain a valid state driver's license.
  • Comfortable working with new technology and proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Possess and maintain a minimum of a Class B CDL license, with Tanker, Hazmat, and Airbrake endorsements.
