About the position

The Heavy Equipment General Laborer position is an outdoor role focused on various labor-intensive tasks. The primary objective is to assist in loading supplies, digging, and handling cables while ensuring safety and efficiency on the job site. This position requires following directions and working in diverse weather conditions, with a pay range of $25 to $28 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload supplies
• Hand dig holes and trenches
• Feed cable in chute during plow procedure
• Locate and spot existing utilities
• Set utility pedestals and hand holes
• Assist operator in digging around utilities

Requirements

• Out of town travel as required
• Ability to work in adverse weather conditions
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to kneel, squat, bend and twist as needed
• Must have a current valid driver's license
• Perform other duties as assigned
