About the position

The Heavy Equipment Operator & Laborer position at Allied Waterproofing & Septic involves operating various heavy machinery and performing labor tasks in both residential and commercial settings. The role requires a strong work ethic, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The operator will be responsible for land clearing, excavation, grading, and maintaining equipment, ensuring a clean and safe work environment throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment including Track Skid Steers, Excavators, Mini-X, Backhoe, D4 Bulldozer, CAT 3500 Loader, and Vibe Rollers.
• Perform land clearing, excavating, and grading tasks.
• Build level foundation pads using various equipment and job site lasers.
• Carry tools, materials, and equipment, ensuring a safe and clean work area upon job completion.
• Drive equipment to and from job sites and use sewer cleaning equipment.
• Lead and coordinate with other workers to determine dig sites and run jobs.
• Pick up and deliver parts and materials as needed.
• Clean, organize, locate, load, and maintain stocked items in vans.
• Properly use and store all equipment and tools, maintaining overall shop cleanliness, trucks, and equipment.
• Verify, organize, and allocate incoming stock and upcoming job parts.

Requirements

• Valid Driver's License
• Minimum 2 years experience in operating heavy equipment such as Track Skid Steers, Excavators, Mini-X, Backhoe, D4 Bulldozer, CAT 3500 Loader, and Vibe Rollers.
• Knowledge of shooting grade.
• Exceptional work ethic and strong communication skills.
• Ability to work in a self-directed environment.
