About the position
The Heavy Equipment Operator position at Waste Management involves operating a variety of heavy equipment vehicles for the spreading and compaction of construction, demolition, and waste materials at post-collection facilities. Responsibilities
- Operates heavy equipment in compliance with company safety policies and procedures.
- Conducts routine equipment inspections and preventative maintenance; maintains accurate records.
- Moves and positions raw materials and finished components using material moving equipment.
- Follows standard operating procedures for operating and maintaining vehicles.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- No formal education required.
- Three (3) years of previous experience operating heavy equipment.
