About The Position

The Heavy Equipment Operator position at Ledcor offers an opportunity to work in the telecommunications sector, specifically in Washington State. This full-time role involves operating heavy machinery, ensuring safety and quality in high-pressure environments, and contributing to the restoration of job sites. The position is designed for individuals with experience in heavy equipment operation and provides a structured work rotation of 21 days on and 7 days off, along with a live out allowance for those located out of state.

Requirements

• Active CDL A or CDL B with combination endorsement is preferred
• Experience operating a skid steer, mini excavator, and/or backhoe is an asset
• Two years of experience in Heavy Equipment operation
• Must successfully complete a criminal background check, pre-access drug and alcohol screenings
• Experience with safely operating a variety of large and small power equipment, light vehicles, and properly towing/backing-up trailers

Nice To Haves

• Experience with telecommunications network construction
• Knowledge of safety regulations and practices in heavy equipment operation

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operating heavy equipment
• Providing light maintenance and routine service to equipment
• Operating equipment, hand tools, and lifting heavy items (up to 50 pounds)
• Reading underground utility locates and ensuring safe digging practices are adhered to
• Maintaining a healthy and safe work environment for the crew, the public, the customer, and Ledcor
• Assisting with restoring job sites back to their original state
