About the position

Gaines Civil Construction, LLC is seeking full-time heavy equipment operators, specifically for bulldozers, excavators, and motor graders. The role involves site grading, utility work, and other civil construction tasks related to railroad and infrastructure projects. Operators will be required to perform routine maintenance on equipment and operate heavy machinery in various conditions across multiple job sites throughout the central and southern United States.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily and routine maintenance on heavy equipment.
• Operate bulldozers, excavators, and motor graders to complete assigned tasks.
• Work in a safety-sensitive environment in remote locations with varying conditions.
• Comply with company policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience operating bulldozers, excavators, or motor graders on highway or equivalent construction sites.
• Class E Driver License required.
• Must pass a background check.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening.
