About the position
PEI Contractors is seeking a full-time Heavy Equipment Operator to join their team. The role involves operating various heavy equipment for construction and maintenance projects, with a focus on safety and efficiency. This position offers opportunities for career growth and requires a strong background in operating heavy machinery, particularly in environments with underground utilities.
Responsibilities
- Operate a variety of heavy equipment including excavators, loaders, and dozers.
- Complete construction and maintenance projects safely and efficiently.
- Work out of the equipment as needed to collaborate with crew members.
- Comply with safety regulations and maintain a satisfactory driving record.
- Lift, push, or pull weights of 50+ pounds and traverse uneven terrain.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
- MA Hoisting License 2A.
- CDL license is a plus.
- DOT Medical Card.
- OSHA 10 hr Safety Training certification.
- 5+ years of experience operating heavy equipment.
