We are experts on Isuzu and Hino chassis options, as well as the bodies and equipment available for medium duty trucks. No other dealership matches our expertise on both the front and back end of a truck. We make sure you get the perfect truck for your business! Primary Job Functions: Develop new business and maintain current customer relationships. Drive the sales process, and provide an outstanding customer service experience, while selling products and services for FMI at the sales office, store, or customer's place of business. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Participation in weekly sales forecasts. Maintain application and product expertise relative to customer base. Execute sales strategy, initiate contact with existing and potential customers, identify needs and sell appropriate merchandise to meet those needs. Establish and realize yearly sales goals for territories or areas of responsibility. Travel throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers to solicit orders and talks with customers on sales floor or by phone. Display or demonstrate product, using samples or handouts and emphasize salable features. Prepare sales information for customers. Establish buying influences, budgets and purchasing criteria for assigned accounts. Quotes prices and credit terms for orders obtained. Secure and place orders taking into consideration delivery dates and inventory levels for fulfillment. Prepares reports of business transactions and keeps expense accounts. Participates in special projects or assignments as requested. Works with Sales Coordinator to ensure transactions flow smoothly. Qualifications: Communication Proficiency, both written and verbal. Computer proficiency - Microsoft. Customer/Client Focus. Must be able to demonstrate ability to interact professionally with all levels of the company and with customers. Must have a can-do attitude. Good time management and organizational skills. Work Environment : Seventy percent of the time it is an office environment. The remainder is spent in vehicles or walking around trucks. Must be able to climb in and out of trucks and walk on uneven ground. Office time is spent on-site, at our corporate headquarters.
