The Heavy Equipment Sales Representative at The Oilfield Academy is responsible for driving sales and building relationships with clients in the oil and gas, as well as construction and heavy equipment industries. Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients through effective communication and exceptional customer service.
  • Engage in outside sales activities, including cold calling potential clients and upselling to existing customers.
  • Manage an open territory by identifying new business opportunities and expanding market presence.
  • Collaborate with team members to strategize on sales approaches and share best practices.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and market conditions to effectively position products.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in outside sales or territory sales, preferably within the technology or heavy equipment sectors.
  • Strong negotiation skills with a track record of closing deals.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service.
  • Experience in cold calling and upselling techniques is highly desirable.
  • A self-starter attitude with the ability to work independently while contributing to team goals.
