About the position
We are a stone manufacturer located in Elmhurst, IL, seeking a dedicated Heavy Laborer to join our team. This full-time position offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $18 to $22, depending on experience. The ideal candidate will have experience in making cast stone or working with various types of stone, although other construction trades such as carpentry, tiling, or landscaping will also be considered. The role primarily involves warehouse work, where you will be responsible for moving and packaging stone products, loading trucks, and making crates for stone delivery. As a Heavy Laborer, you will be expected to lift heavy items, typically ranging from 50 to over 100 pounds. This physically demanding position requires strength and stamina, as you will be handling stone products such as marble, granite, and limestone. While experience in patching stone is not required, it is a beneficial skill to have. The work schedule consists of 8-hour shifts, and you will be expected to work approximately 40 hours per week. Responsibilities

Requirements
- Experience in making cast stone or working with stone is preferred.
- Experience in other construction trades such as carpentry, tiling, or landscaping is acceptable.
- Ability to lift heavy items (50+ LBS to 100+ LBS).
- Valid Driver's License is required.
- 1 year of experience in construction or extraction occupations is preferred.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in patching stone is beneficial.
- Experience working with granite is encouraged.
