About the position

The Heavy Truck Driver position at Halliburton involves operating company vehicles to transport materials and equipment in support of construction and maintenance activities. The role requires adherence to safety protocols and effective communication with team members. Responsibilities

  • Reports to and receives assignments from the Foreman or General Foreman.
  • Reads and interprets instructions and documentation to plan work activities.
  • Operates company vehicles with a capacity of up to 30 tons to move materials, tools, and equipment.
  • Loads and unloads vehicles as necessary.
  • Observes and follows all safety rules and procedures, including wearing required personal safety equipment.
  • Performs other duties and activities as directed.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Class A CDL with Tanker endorsement required.
  • Satisfactory driver record with no DWI/DUI convictions in the past three years or any current DWI/DUI charges.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Basic reading comprehension and writing skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 60lbs.
  • Ability to pass background, physical, and drug screen.
  • Ability to understand and carry out routine oral and written instructions.
  • Flexibility to accommodate a flexible work schedule, long workdays, and/or irregular work hours.
  • Ability to be on-call with short notice and exposed to extreme weather conditions.
  • Maintains effective working relationships with other employees.
