About the position
The Help Desk Analyst II position is a contract role focused on providing technical support and troubleshooting assistance within the education sector in Madison, Wisconsin. The role is essential for maintaining the smooth operation of computer systems and ensuring excellent customer service for team members.
Responsibilities
- Efficiently process and resolve technical issues received through our ticketing system.
- Maintain and manage Windows operating systems and Microsoft Exchange servers.
- Handle queries and complaints with excellent customer service skills.
- Utilize Active Directory to manage network users and resources.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to VPNs and DNS.
- Monitor and maintain SharePoint and custom SharePoint applications.
- Conduct basic network troubleshooting and hardware troubleshooting.
- Manage and maintain Citrix technologies.
- Handle configuration management tasks for computer hardware and Apple devices.
- Act as a knowledgeable resource for all systems, contributing to a cohesive team environment.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Help Desk Analyst role or similar position
- Proficiency in using and troubleshooting Citrix Technologies
- Familiarity with Microsoft Suite and other Microsoft technologies
- Experience with Active Directory and its functionalities
- Ability to troubleshoot and maintain Apple devices
- Knowledge of computer hardware and ability to perform hardware troubleshooting
- Experience in Configuration Management
- Proficiency in setting up and managing VPN - Virtual Private Network
- Understanding of Networking principles and protocols
- Familiarity with DNS - Domain Name System
- Ability to perform basic network troubleshooting
- Strong skills in hardware troubleshooting and network troubleshooting
- Excellent customer service skills, with a customer-first mindset
- Experience with Custom SharePoint and SharePoint technologies
