About the position

The Help Desk Analyst II position is a long-term contract role based in Westford, Massachusetts, focused on providing technical support and maintaining accurate inventory records of IT assets. The successful candidate will interact directly with clients, ensuring a positive and professional experience while troubleshooting hardware and software issues.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for troubleshooting hardware and software issues on macOS and Windows operating systems
  • Configure and set up new computers and peripherals, ensuring optimal functionality
  • Manage the process of computer upgrades and staging
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records of IT assets in the organization
  • Administer and troubleshoot SaaS applications, including Microsoft 365, Zoom, Slack, Adobe Creative Suite, and Google Workspace
  • Provide clear and concise explanations of technical issues and solutions to clients
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure a positive and professional experience
  • Demonstrate high-level organizational skills and attention to detail in all tasks
  • Effectively prioritize tasks and manage time to ensure efficient operation
  • Utilize skills in Mac Computers, Microsoft, Apple Devices, Computer Hardware, Configuration Management, and Deployments to effectively perform job duties.

Requirements

  • Possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in a Help Desk Analyst role or similar position
  • Proficient in the use of Mac Computers and Apple Devices
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft software and applications
  • Familiarity with Computer Hardware, including the ability to diagnose and resolve hardware issues
  • Experience with Configuration Management and Deployments
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact efficiently with team members and clients
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
