Responsibilities
- Analyze new systems and upgrades
- Test new configurations and systems
- Modify settings or replace faulty components
- Prepare evaluations of software or hardware and recommend improvements
- Assist users by phone, email, or in-person
- Inform managers and team members of major problems or recurring concerns
- Diagnose and resolve computer problems, including hardware and software issues
- Set up and configure new systems and hardware
- Perform routine and disaster recovery maintenance on networks
- Educate users on how to use new software and hardware
- Create technical documentation and records of problems and solutions
Requirements
- 8+ years of computer experience in at least two of the following disciplines: system analysis, system programming, application programming, and equipment analysis
- 5+ years of experience as a computer hardware or systems software specialist
- 1+ year of experience deploying a law enforcement CAD, RMS, and Mobile system
- Bachelor's Degree required
