About the position

The Help Desk Manager will lead the help desk team in Florence, South Carolina, ensuring exceptional customer service and efficient operations. This role involves overseeing daily help desk activities, managing a team of agents, and maintaining technical expertise to resolve copier and printer issues. The manager will also provide training and guidance to staff, ensuring smooth transitions from customer inquiries to issue resolution.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the help desk team.
  • Manage and mentor help desk agents, providing technical support and guidance.
  • Document all customer interactions and resolutions in the ticketing system.
  • Follow up with customers to ensure their issues are resolved satisfactorily.
  • Identify areas for process and workflow improvement.
  • Train and develop help desk employees.

Requirements

  • 2 years of experience as a customer service supervisor.
  • 2 years of experience in the copier industry preferred.
  • Proven leadership ability in call center and field supervisory roles.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Bachelor's Degree.
