About the position

The Help Desk Specialist at PayComplete is responsible for supporting and maintaining user workstations and various technology assets within the company. This role involves providing end-user support, managing IT assets, and ensuring optimal functionality of devices across all company locations, including remote sales employees. The position reports to the IT Operations Manager and plays a crucial role in enhancing user experience and productivity through effective technology management.

Responsibilities

  • Manage & maintain all end-user workstations, laptops, and peripheral devices for all company locations and for remote sales employees.
  • Perform periodic maintenance on all desktops, laptops, and peripherals to ensure that systems are up to date and functioning optimally.
  • Onboard new users, provision equipment, email addresses, VPN credentials, and cell phones.
  • Provide new user training on all items.
  • Provide end-user support for all company applications and technology assets.
  • Achieve timely resolution of all issues.
  • Assist with training of users on systems/processes.
  • Create and administer logins for all employees for all systems including Active Directory.
  • Maintain the IT asset database, work with accounting staff to ensure all assets are always capitalized and accounted for.
  • Recommend, schedule, and perform desktop upgrades, improvements, and repairs.
  • Coordinate repairs and support with vendors.
  • Develop documentation as needed to support all the above processes.

Requirements

  • Associates or Technical degree or equivalent work experience required.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience with Windows Administration and Desktop Support.
  • Experience with Azure and Intune administration and device management required.
  • Hardware experience with workstations is required.
  • Understanding of basic networking required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle and maintain extremely confidential information required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's degree a plus.
  • Experience with M365 and Sharepoint administration preferred but not required.
  • Knowledge of Linux preferred but not required.
