About The Position

The Help Desk Technician I position at ProSphere Tek involves providing technical support and services for an educational campus, specifically assisting U.S. Military personnel at the Medical Education and Training Campus (METC) in San Antonio, TX. Requirements

• Working knowledge of Microsoft OS and help desk tracking systems.
• 1+ years of experience in a Microsoft customer service computer support environment.
• Current Security + certification and one or more of A+ or Network+.
• Proven customer service skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
• Experience working on a Windows Help Desk team supporting the U.S. Military, a large hospital, or an academic institution.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with SCCM, RightNow CRM, and HP Asset Manager.

Responsibilities

• Assist Tier I personnel in solving technical problems and resolving elevated issues.
• Handle tier 1 help desk items as necessary.
• Perform onsite installations or replacements of hardware components.
• Conduct software repair, diagnostic testing, and troubleshooting via remote desktop connections.
• Support the automation deployment, configuration, and maintenance of the Windows Platform, PCs, laptops, and peripherals.
