About the position

The Help Desk Technician at Suzor IT plays a crucial role in supporting K-12 schools and municipal employees by ensuring the smooth operation of the organization's IT infrastructure. This position involves direct interaction with users to resolve technology-related issues, educate staff on best practices, and maintain effective communication across departments.

Responsibilities

  • Providing support to users in person, over the phone, or via remote access.
  • Establishing good relationships with all departments and colleagues.
  • Diagnosing/troubleshooting issues with computer software, peripherals, and hardware.
  • Installing and configuring hardware and software components.
  • Repairing or replacing damaged hardware.
  • Educating staff on best technology/security practices.
  • Performing tests and evaluations of new software and hardware.
  • Creating and managing technical documentation.
  • Providing basic computer training.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of customer service experience.
  • Relevant License/Certification - CompTIA A+ (Preferred)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Good problem-solving skills.
