About the position

We are seeking an entry-level Help Desk Technician to provide technical assistance to all team members. The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting basic to moderate hardware and software issues, installing and configuring software and hardware, maintaining our computer systems, and managing all help desk administrative duties. Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance to team members.
• Troubleshoot basic to moderate hardware and software issues.
• Install and configure software and hardware.
• Maintain computer systems and manage help desk duties.
• Respond to and resolve technical support issues via email, phone, or in-person.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as software updates and backups.
• Assist with the setup and maintenance of network and telecommunications systems.
• Provide basic training to end-users on commonly used applications and systems.
• Manage and prioritize incoming support requests.
• Collaborate with IT staff and vendors to resolve complex technical issues.
• Monitor and report on system and network performance and availability.
• Maintain inventory and documentation of hardware and software assets.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of IT support experience required.
• Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies quickly.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Familiarity with Windows operating systems.
• Knowledge of computer hardware, software, and peripherals.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
