About the position

The Help Desk Technician role is designed to provide technical assistance and support to end users. This position serves as the first point of contact for users seeking help with technical issues, utilizing remote troubleshooting techniques to resolve problems efficiently. The technician will analyze issues, determine solutions, and maintain documentation of all interactions and resolutions.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the initial point of contact for end users seeking technical assistance via phone, email, or chat.
  • Perform remote troubleshooting using diagnostic techniques and relevant questions.
  • Analyze issues and determine the best solution based on customer details.
  • Guide customers through problem-solving steps.
  • Escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate support level.
  • Maintain accurate logs of events, problems, and resolutions.
  • Relay customer feedback or suggestions to internal teams.
  • Identify process improvements and suggest enhancements.

Requirements

  • 1 year of help desk experience (preferred).
  • 1 year of experience with Windows (preferred).
  • Ability to commute to Scottsdale, AZ 85251 (required).
  • Ability to relocate to Scottsdale, AZ 85251 before starting work (required).
