About the position

The Helpdesk IT Technician at Harmar Mobility is responsible for providing end-user support, monitoring systems for performance and security issues, and facilitating continuous improvement within the IT team. This role emphasizes teamwork, excellent customer service, and problem-solving skills, contributing to the company's mission of enhancing mobility and independence for individuals with mobility difficulties.

Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service to end users.
  • Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner through root cause analysis.
  • Gather and analyze information skillfully to develop alternative solutions.
  • Communicate clearly and persuasively in both positive and negative situations.
  • Stay updated on information technology trends and security standards.
  • Test work before implementing solutions.
  • Research, develop, and implement IT solutions based on the company's IT vision.
  • Increase system and business efficiency through workflows and automation tasks.
  • Maintain and enhance system monitoring and management processes.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Degree in computer science or related field, or a combination of schooling, certifications, and on-the-job experience.
  • Two or more years of experience in information technology.
  • Understanding of Windows Operating Systems and Microsoft Office 365 Applications.
  • Experience with software deployment and helpdesk ticketing systems.
  • Experience working with Salesforce, Cloud Telephony, and CAD applications is a plus.
