About the position

The Delivery Helper at Amazon DSP Deluxe Transportation Service, LLC is responsible for assisting with the delivery of packages on assigned routes. This role requires effective communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while providing excellent customer service. The position offers both part-time and full-time opportunities, with flexible scheduling and the potential for long hours during peak seasons.

Responsibilities

• Assist with delivering packages for Amazon on an assigned route.
• Maintain focus and pay attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• Communicate effectively and professionally with the public, coworkers, and managers.
• Carry out a series of instructions without constant supervision.
• Provide excellent customer service and satisfaction, even in stressful conditions.
• Deliver packages in various weather conditions and on different routes.
• Walk, lift, bend, reach, kneel, crouch, twist, and stretch during shifts up to 11 hours long.
• Lift, push, pull, and sort boxes and packages weighing up to 50 pounds frequently.
• Maneuver packages weighing up to 70 pounds with material handling equipment.
• Work as part of a delivery team to handle packages weighing up to 300 pounds.
• Climb up and down stairs frequently throughout the workday.
• Report for scheduled shifts and maintain reliable attendance.
• Adhere to strict safety and quality standards.
• Interact positively and professionally with coworkers and customers.
• Assist Delivery Associates with customer requests or problems.
• Perform delivery station activities including sortation and general tasks.

Requirements

• Customer service experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to speak, read, and write in English.
• Entry-level position suitable for individuals with no prior experience.
