About the position

Atlanta Bookshelves is seeking a qualified installation helper to join our cabinetry shop in Jonesboro, Georgia. This full-time position involves assisting the Lead Installer with various installation tasks for custom cabinetry projects, ensuring high-quality service and customer satisfaction. The role requires a positive attitude, teamwork, and the ability to handle physical demands associated with the job.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Lead Installer in installing components for bookshelves, closets, and other customized projects.
• Perform tasks such as caulking, touching up paint, repairing sheetrock, and running electrical.
• Maintain a professional appearance and attitude in all client interactions.
• Help clean up after installations are complete.
• Maintain tools and work environment in a safe and clean manner.
• Work efficiently to meet high-quality standards demanded by customers and teams.
• Support efforts to enhance the customer experience.

Requirements

• At least a High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in cabinet installation.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Basic computer skills and knowledge of the Android operating platform.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in carpentry (3 years preferred).
• Friendly and easy-going personality.
