Hematologist/Oncologist

About the position

Kaiser Permanente-Washington Permanente Medical Group is seeking a full-time Hematologist/Oncologist to join the Everett Medical Center team. This role focuses on providing comprehensive care to patients while working within a collaborative, multi-specialty environment that prioritizes patient health over traditional healthcare obstacles. Responsibilities

• Interact formally and informally with colleagues and specialists to share knowledge and formulate treatments.
• Work within a model that eliminates insurance roadblocks and access issues.
• Operate within a multispecialty medical center providing coordinated care.
• Participate in a shared call rotation covering inpatient responsibilities at one hospital.
• Maintain a protected clinic schedule for adequate patient-physician face time.

Requirements

• Board certification in Hematology and Oncology.
• Experience in community hematology and oncology practice.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team.

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with EPIC and Beacon EMR systems.
• Interest in developing non-clinical interests in medicine.
