In this specialist-level role, the HEOR Researcher is recognized as a subject matter expert in their field, typically obtained through advanced education and relevant work experience. The position requires managing large projects or processes with limited oversight from a manager, coaching, reviewing, and delegating work to lower-level professionals while resolving complex problems. The HEOR Researcher assists in supporting research activities under the supervision of the Principal Investigator, Project Director, or other designated supervisors, functioning as part of the core staff of the program and performing routine programmatic functions or research procedures with proper documentation to support those activities. The role demands independence and collaboration with co-workers in designing and performing research program activities to achieve the research objectives set by the Principal Investigator. The HEOR Researcher is expected to develop and optimize project methods and protocols, interpret experimental data, present research summaries, and maintain organized research records and databases. Additionally, the position involves assisting collaborating investigators in developing research proposals and manuscripts, managing day-to-day operations of research studies, and supervising research assistants and interns as necessary.
