The HEOR Researcher role is centered on conducting research and development activities aimed at innovating and improving products and processes within the healthcare sector. This position is integral to various research programs and projects, focusing on the development of new products and innovations. The role encompasses clinical responsibilities that are pivotal to research projects, where the individual will engage in basic, translational, and clinical research to address specific problems faced by entities or communities. As a professional individual contributor, the HEOR Researcher may oversee the work of lower-level professionals or manage specific processes and programs, spending a significant amount of time on the design, implementation, and delivery of processes, programs, and policies utilizing specialized knowledge typically acquired through advanced education. In this position, the researcher will assist in supporting research activities under the guidance of the Principal Investigator, Project Director, or other designated supervisors. The role requires functioning as part of the core staff of the program, performing routine programmatic functions or research procedures, and documenting these activities meticulously. The HEOR Researcher will work independently and collaboratively with co-workers to design and execute research program activities that align with the objectives set forth by the Principal Investigator. This position demands a high level of expertise and experience, as the researcher will be expected to manage large projects or processes with limited oversight, coach and review the work of lower-level professionals, and resolve complex problems that may arise during research activities.
