About the position

The Business Operations Senior Manager at Salesforce's Heroku team is responsible for driving innovation and streamlining processes to enhance efficiency and productivity. This role involves managing programs, aligning with stakeholders, and implementing scalable mechanisms to support the growth and success of the Heroku organization. The position requires a dynamic professional who can oversee operational strategies, pricing strategies, and complex initiatives while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and oversee business operations strategies to improve efficiency, productivity, and overall business performance
  • Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive pricing strategies to optimize revenue, profitability, and market competitiveness
  • Orchestrate and oversee complex initiatives that contribute to continued growth and success
  • Manage projects for GTM including pricing & packaging, consumption-based pricing, and operationalizing professional services
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and timely delivery of projects
  • Identify potential risks, dependencies, and roadblocks, and develop mitigation strategies and contingency plans

Requirements

  • 7+ years of strategy and operations experience, with previous consulting/advisory experience being a plus
  • Experience in pricing strategy, analysis, and optimization, with expertise in financial modeling and data-driven decision-making
  • Experience in successful growth implementations, from development to launch, including revenue-producing programs and go-to-market strategies
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills with strong attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to manage ambiguity and adapt to evolving requirements in an agile environment
  • History of delivering successful programs that result in measurable business value
  • Significant understanding of the Salesforce platform to influence strategic discussions at a management level
  • Pragmatic problem solver with a bias to action and a passion for driving business outcomes
  • Ability to build and deliver presentations to management and C-Level Executives
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment
