About the position

As a Business Operations Senior Manager at Salesforce, you will be responsible for driving innovation and streamlining processes to enhance efficiency and productivity across the Heroku organization. This role involves managing programs, building processes, and aligning with stakeholders to implement scalable mechanisms that support the company's growth and operational strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and oversee business operations strategies to improve efficiency, productivity, and overall business performance.
  • Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive pricing strategies to optimize revenue, profitability, and market competitiveness.
  • Orchestrate and oversee complex initiatives that contribute to our continued growth and success.
  • Manage projects for GTM including pricing & packaging, consumption-based pricing, and operationalizing professional services.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, customer support, and sales, to ensure alignment and timely delivery of projects.
  • Identify potential risks, dependencies, and roadblocks. Develop mitigation strategies and contingency plans to stay on track.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of strategy and operations experience, with previous consulting/advisory experience being a plus.
  • Experience in pricing strategy, analysis, and optimization.
  • Expertise in financial modeling, pricing analysis, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Experience in successful growth implementations, from development to launch, revenue-producing programs and go-to-market strategies.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, strong attention to detail, and ability to identify risks while managing multiple complex projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage ambiguity and adapt to evolving requirements in an agile environment.
  • Demonstrated history of delivering successful programs that result in measurable business value.
  • Significant understanding of the Salesforce platform to influence strategic and value discussions at a management level.
  • Pragmatic problem solver with a bias to action and a focus on driving business outcomes.
