About the position

The Career Coach position is focused on providing guidance and support to disadvantaged youth in their career preparation and educational pursuits. The role involves utilizing effective communication and organizational skills to facilitate learning and development, while also interpreting data to enhance educational programs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree preferably with a concentration in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related educational field
• Instructional experience and/or Job Corps or related experience working with disadvantaged youth is preferred
• OR An Associate Degree with a concentration in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work or related educational field and two years of demonstrated vocational, counseling, or educational experience
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Effective organizational skills
• Effective interpersonal skills
• Ability to interpret data and analyze its use within educational programs
• Proficient with computers, computer processing, internet and computer-assisted training
• A valid Regular Driver License is required.
