About the position
The HHA/PCA position at Right at Home involves providing compassionate and dependable care to seniors in their homes. Candidates will be responsible for light housekeeping, meal preparation, and companionship activities, while also being part of a supportive and energetic work culture.
Responsibilities
- Prepare light meals and assist with eating.
- Perform light housekeeping duties.
- Provide oversight and supervision to ensure client safety.
- Assist clients with daily living tasks to help them remain in their homes.
- Remind clients to take medications as prescribed.
- Assist with prescribed range of motion exercises.
- Engage clients in companionship activities such as reading, music, and puzzles.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age.
- Must have a high school diploma or GED.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and current automobile insurance.
- Must have reliable and consistent means of communication.
- Ability to pass a full employment background check.
Nice-to-haves
- HHA, CNA, or PCA license is preferred.
- 6 months of experience as a Personal Care Assistant in healthcare preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience as a Caregiver/Home Health Aide in healthcare (in homes or facilities).
