About the position
As a Home Health Aide (HHA), you will play a crucial role in assisting clients with their daily living activities. This position involves providing support with light housekeeping tasks, meal preparation, and companionship. You will be working in person in Clermont, FL, and the shifts can vary between day and evening hours, typically lasting 10 hours each.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily light duty tasks such as light cleaning and dishes.
- Help with meal preparation occasionally.
- Provide companionship and engage in conversation with clients.
- Support clients in light physical activities like walks, ensuring their comfort and safety.
Requirements
- Valid CNA license is required.
- Certified Home Health Aide certification is necessary.
- Experience in patient care is preferred.
Nice-to-haves
- Ability to speak Spanish is a plus.
- Familiarity with Jamaican Patois is beneficial.
