About the position

The HighJump WMS SQL Developer at Markwins Beauty Brands Inc. is responsible for the development, maintenance, and performance optimization of SQL databases related to warehouse management systems. This role involves writing SQL queries, troubleshooting database issues, and ensuring the stability and reliability of corporate applications. The position requires strong technical skills and effective communication to collaborate with various teams and enhance warehouse management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all development stages for SQL databases.
• Write SQL queries and conduct SQL database troubleshooting.
• Ensure the stability, reliability, and performance of the databases.
• Implement, configure, maintain, and optimize SQL Server for corporate applications.
• Enhance warehouse management capabilities through effective SQL development.
• Streamline processes and improve data integrity in collaboration with logistics and operations teams.
• Design, develop, and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions for HighJump WMS integration.
• Resolve and update IT tickets for WMS SQL-related tasks efficiently.
• Collaborate with operations, IT, and business analysis teams to gather requirements for SQL solutions.
• Work with application vendors on incidents and technical support as needed.
• Assist in system upgrades while ensuring data integrity and security.
• Provide training and support on SQL-related queries and reporting tools.
• Create/modify standard operating procedures and documentation as needed.
• Provide on-call and after-hours support and maintenance duties as required.
• Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in SQL development and warehouse management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related technical degree.
• Proven experience as a SQL Developer, preferably with experience in HighJump WMS or related warehouse management systems.
• 3 - 5 years of HighJump development experience in SQL is preferred.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, including the ability to write complex queries and optimize database performance.
• Familiarity with the Koerber HighJump WMS architecture and data structures is advantageous.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
