About the position
Lockheed Martin is seeking a High Power Electromagnetics Senior Engineer to work on pulsed power and high power electromagnetic systems and subsystems. This role involves collaboration with various engineering disciplines in a multidisciplinary environment, focusing on design, integration, and testing of advanced technology systems for military applications.
Responsibilities
- Working on pulsed power and high power electromagnetic systems and subsystems.
- Engaging with other Pulsed Power engineers, High Power Electromagnetic engineers, Integration and Test engineers, and mechanical packaging engineers.
- Collaborating in a multidisciplinary environment and engaging with experts in various fields.
Requirements
- Master's degree or higher in electrical engineering or related science field
- Experience with pulsed power and energy systems
- Experience with Matlab and full-wave simulation tools
- Ability to solve loosely defined and inherently unstructured problems
- Ability to work with geographically diverse teams
- Experience with University or Government Labs
Nice-to-haves
- Doctoral degree or higher in an engineering or science field
- Understanding of all aspects of Electrical Engineering
- Deep understanding of electromagnetics theory
- Data Analysis/Reduction/presentation with Matlab or similar tools
- Experience with rapid prototyping, system integration
- Hands on experience with RF Test instrumentation (Spectrum Analyzers, Scopes, VNA, Power Meters etc)
