About the position

The High School Art Teacher at Sojourn High School is responsible for providing quality art education to students, particularly those from at-risk backgrounds. This full-time, contract position emphasizes classroom management and effective teaching strategies to engage students in the arts while accommodating diverse learning needs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement art curriculum for high school students.
• Manage classroom behavior and create a positive learning environment.

Requirements

• Valid NJ Standard certification as a Teacher of Art.
