About the position

The Learning Lounge Newton is seeking a passionate and dedicated part-time teacher fluent in both French and Spanish to provide high-quality academic instruction to high school students. The role involves tutoring students at various levels, from Intermediate to Advanced Placement, and providing academic advising to help them navigate their educational pathways.

Responsibilities

• Tutor high school students after school in French and Spanish.
• Provide academic advising to students, helping them navigate their educational pathways and encouraging their interest in world languages.
• Tutor students individually and in groups, fostering critical thinking skills and promoting a collaborative learning environment.
• Collaborate with fellow educators to integrate interdisciplinary approaches into the curriculum and share best practices for student engagement.

Requirements

• Demonstrable fluency in French and Spanish.
• Minimum of bachelor's degree; master's degree preferable.
