About the position
The Union County Educational Services Commission is seeking a Mathematics Teacher for a Leave Replacement Position at Hillcrest Academy - North Campus in Scotch Plains, NJ. This position is available from September 2, 2024, to June 2025. The role is full-time, requiring attendance five days a week, with working hours from 8:20 a.m. to 2:40 p.m. The school offers an innovative high school program designed to provide highly supportive and individualized academic programs for students.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree from an Accredited College or University in Mathematics or other related field of study
- Valid NJDOE Certification as Teacher of Mathematics (CEAS or Standard Certificates Only)
- Knowledge of effective instructional, classroom management and assessment skills
- Experience working with secondary students in an urban and/or alternative high school setting preferred
