The High School Program Co-Op at ADM Trucking in Decatur, IL, is designed for high school seniors who are looking to gain practical experience in the fields of mechanics, wash bay operations, and dispatch/office administration. This part-time, hourly position is part of ADM's 12-month Career Pathways program, which aims to provide students with hands-on training and exposure to the transportation industry. To qualify, students must be at least 17 years old, maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.25 or higher, and meet attendance requirements. A formal letter of recommendation is also required for program entry. Upon selection, students must pass a pre-employment drug screen and a lift test as per ADM's policies. The program is structured to provide students with various work schedules, including a summer co-op from June 2024 to July 2024, and fall and spring co-ops for credit from August 2024 to December 2024 and January 2025 to May 2025, respectively.
