About the position
Cohasset High School seeks a certified candidate for a long-term sub position in the high school. The anticipated schedule includes 11th and 12th grade World History courses. Candidate must hold a valid 9-12 Mass license in Social Studies. We are looking for a candidate with energy, creativity, and flexibility with regards to both collaboration with colleagues, and learning styles in the classroom. If you have a passion for history, a belief that all students can be successful learners, and are adept at incorporating UDL in your teaching, please send us your credentials.
Responsibilities
- Planning and assessment of instruction and curriculum
- Planning and delivering effective instruction
- Promoting high standards and expectations for student achievement
- Communicating with students, parents, and other district employees to work on behalf of students
- Promoting equity and appreciation of diversity
Requirements
- Valid 9-12 Mass license in Social Studies
