About the position

We are seeking a dedicated and certified Spanish teacher for the upcoming 2024-25 school year at our high school located in Brooklyn, NY. The ideal candidate will possess a valid New York State Teaching Certificate and have a strong background in teaching Spanish to high school students. This position is full-time, requiring the teacher to engage with students in a dynamic classroom environment, fostering a love for the Spanish language and culture. The teacher will be responsible for developing lesson plans, assessing student progress, and creating an inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation and learning. The successful candidate will work Monday to Friday, with a salary range of $50,000 to $70,000 per year, depending on their education and experience. The role requires a commitment to professional development and collaboration with colleagues to enhance the educational experience for students. The teacher will also be expected to participate in school events and contribute to the school community beyond the classroom. Responsibilities
