About the position

Bethany Community School is seeking a full-time High School Spanish Teacher for the 2022-2023 academic year. The role involves planning, organizing, and presenting instruction while guiding and facilitating student learning to help them master Spanish language skills. The teacher will create a supportive learning environment that fosters educational and social development, and will collaborate with students, parents, colleagues, and the community to enhance the school culture.

Responsibilities

• Plan and organize instructional activities for high school Spanish classes.
• Present lessons effectively to facilitate student learning.
• Guide and support students in mastering Spanish language skills.

• Collaborate with parents, colleagues, and the community to support student development.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field (Required).
• NC Teaching License (Preferred).
• 3 years of teaching experience (Preferred).
• Experience with Blackboard and LMS.
